Arlington Youth Lacrosse Association

Arlington Youth Lacrosse and Sniper Lacrosse are pleased to announce the launch of summer lacrosse in Arlington.

WHAT:  Two hours of lacrosse fun that includes skill-building drills, game situation play, and full field scrimmages (#s permitting).  On July 27, Sniper Lacrosse will sponsor a mini lacrosse festival that includes a fastest shot contest, agility and shooting contests, best stick trick contests, and more. Prizes are donated by Sniper Lacrosse.

ELIGIBILITY:  Boys who are Arlington residents and who are entering grades 7, 8, and 9 in the Fall 2009

DATES: Mondays June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27

TIME: 6:00 to 8:00 PM

WHERE: Peirce Turf, Arlington High School

COST: $7.00 per session; $35.00 for all 5 sessions.  Participants can pay by the session when they arrive each Monday, or pay a single lump sum.  Make checks payable to ARLINGTON YOUTH LACROSSE.

EQUIPMENT:  **Everything**:  Helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, mouth guard, and cleats. NO PARTICIPATION WITHOUT ALL THE GEAR

All Arlington Youth Lacrosse players must have the following equipment prior to the start of the season:

• Stick
• Lacrosse Helmet and attached mouth guard-it must be (NOCSAE approved)- Hockey helmet not acceptable
• Lacrosse Shoulder Pads
• Arm Pads
• Gloves - Hockey gloves not acceptable
• Athletic supporter
• Rubber Sole cleats (soccer cleats are fine)
• Rib pads-optional
